HDR Render 2
True HDR output: fp16 scRGB swapchain, BT.2390 tonemapping, separate UI brightness, emissive particle boost, EXR screenshots
Description
Adds a true HDR output path to Space Engineers 2 (DX12). The swapchain becomes flip-model R16G16B16A16_Float with scRGB color space. A BT.2390 display mapping (PQ space) replaces the engine's SDR tonemapping: the original shadows and midtones sit at a configurable scene paper white, highlights extend up to the display peak. The UI is composited from its own layer at its own brightness, so SDR menus and HUD read correctly on an HDR display. Emissive GPU particles (thrusters, lasers, muzzle flashes, explosions) can be boosted with live preview; smoke and dust are untouched. Screenshots are also exported as OpenEXR (HDR) beside the game's normal SDR image. Use FSR for anti-aliasing in HDR; FXAA only reaches the SDR copy used for thumbnails. Rec.709 primaries, hue-preserving mapping; no wide-gamut remap. Auto-disables itself if it crashes during init, with a config flag to re-enable. Requires Windows HDR enabled and a supported display; can be force-enabled on SDR displays.

Multiplayer - Y51's Online MP
Online multiplayer for Space Engineers 2: dedicated servers, hosting and joining over Steam or IP.
Description
Online multiplayer for Space Engineers 2: host your world, join friends over Steam or IP, or play on dedicated servers. Everyone in a session needs the same plugin version. Joining a server applies its custom rules to your game for that session. Network use: checks se2-online.yellow51.dev for updates at start (optional). Listing a hosted session is opt-in and sends your SteamID64, session/world name and player counts to se2-online-sessions.yellow51.dev every 30 s. The server browser queries every listed address over Steam. Workshop mods a server needs are downloaded only after you agree (10 GiB cap by default); mods you have are updated to the server's version without asking. On your PC: on Windows, a low-level keyboard hook runs while you are online or setting a key. A patch removes the crash handler SE2's AI library (VRage.KytheraV2.Native.dll) installs. Server owners: without a streaming radius, every player receives the whole world state.

SeMcp2
MCP server for LLM-driven code execution inside Space Engineers 2

Never share or screenshot it; never port-forward the listener. Serves localhost only. Turns your Space Engineers 2 game into an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. An LLM like Claude can connect over HTTP and execute C# directly in the running game engine with full .NET and game API access. Features: - REPL-style: no boilerplate, Roslyn 5.3, [DllImport] supported - All assemblies referenced (.NET + game + plugins) incl. internal members - Lanes: main + render (multi-frame coroutines), parallel (long/blocking work) - Console.WriteLine() piped back to the LLM - Per-field errors with corrected line numbers - Configurable port, auto-generated bearer token Transport: MCP Streamable HTTP (not SSE). POST JSON-RPC to http://localhost:6789/

Tonemapping + HDR
Alternative tonemapping curves for all displays, plus HDR10 output for HDR displays.
Description
Replaces SE2's Hable tonemapper with HDR-friendly alternatives (AgX, Uchimura GT). If you have an HDR display, it also adds HDR10 output. AgX and Uchimura GT natively support HDR, and an extended Hable curve is also available. In HDR mode, the swapchains are made 10-bit, the Rec.709 colors are transformed to Rec.2020 and encoded with ST.2084 PQ. Report issues at https://github.com/matelemons/SE2_HDR/issues
